About the App-----------------Learn India App is a simple yet powerful knowledge app on India.
This app is brainchild of a 12 year old, Dhruv Siddha.It is a swiping cards based app with cards in multiple categories.
Each card contains easy to read and absorb bullet point based interesting information a person, place, event, monument etc.
Users can keep swiping to the next card, browsing through interesting and important information as they go along.The app currently supports categories based on People of India.
We will soon as more categories related to places, events, monuments etc.How it works----------------Once users launch the app, they can select any of the available categories.
Currently the app supports 6 categories - Freedom Fighters, Social Reformers, Soldiers, Scientists, Prominent figures of Ancient India, Saints and Sages.
When user launches any category, they see a card.
This card contains a picture with header information such as name, place/date of birth, place/date of death.
It also displays important information about that personality in short bullet points easy for user to pars and absorb.
User can swipe the card to get to the next card and so on.
